At HCL, we’re passionate about creating meals that students love while supporting their health and wellbeing. Our menus are inspired by the latest high street trends, offering a variety of fresh, tasty, and nutritious options. Whether students prefer to sit and enjoy lunch with friends or grab something on the go, we’ve got them covered.

Breakfast – The Perfect Start to the Day

A healthy breakfast sets the tone for learning! We offer a variety of options such as cereal, porridge, yogurt & granola, croissants, bread rolls, fresh fruit, and toasted buns.
Prices range from 65p to £1.30, and FSM students can enjoy any item for free.

Our Signature Menu runs on a three-week cycle, offering a wide range of dishes to suit every taste. From comforting classics to modern favourites, each menu is carefully planned to provide balanced, nutritious meals that children enjoy. There’s something for everyone we make sure every child has plenty of variety throughout the term.

Street Eats - Global Flavours, Every Week

Want something exciting? Our Street Eats range brings the taste of the high street into school, with bold global flavours and popular food brands. With a different brand featured each day of the week, there’s always something new and delicious to try!

Free School Meals

Your child may be able to get free school meals if you get any of the following:

  • Income Support
  • Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
  • Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • The guaranteed element of Pension Credit
  • Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
  • Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
  • Universal Credit - if you apply on or after 1 April 2018 your household income must be less than £7,400 a year (after tax and not including any benefits you get)
