Ofsted
Gracewood Academy opened on 1 December 2025. As a newly established school, we will receive our first full Ofsted inspection within the standard timeframe set for new schools. Under the current inspection framework, Ofsted typically inspects new schools in their third year of operation. This means Gracewood Academy is expected to have its first full inspection during the 2027–28 academic year. Ofsted may, however, visit earlier should they require any monitoring or assurance reviews.

Our Sixth Form students did exceptionally well this year achieving results that reflected their hard work and determination to succeed. We are delighted that our students’ secured places at Russell Group universities and are launching into exciting career pathways. These outcomes are a powerful testimony to the culture of excellence we are building at Gracewood Academy.
Gracewood Academy is on a transformational journey and as a school we are committed to ensure every student who joins leaves with strong academic outcomes and excellent future career opportunities.
We are immensely proud of our Year 13 students who have shown resilience and determination in their exams this year to help them in to their next step in education. We are also delighted to announce that 100% of our students are at university (60%), undertaking an apprenticeship (10%) or are in employment (30%). Our careers provision and guidance (supported with our Unifrog platform and Services for Young People) has enabled our students to make the appropriate choices in their next steps and we are proud to announce that we are Gatsby benchmark compliant, achieving 100% in every category for the second year running.
